The infection in the ear could occur in any of its three parts.
A. Outer Ear (Otitis Externa)
The infection in this part could be caused by injury, water pollution, and contaminated objects.
B. Middle Ear (Otitis Media)
Otitis media is a result of upper respiratory tract infection, which could cause severe ear pain due to accumulated fluid.
C. Inner Ear (Otitis Interna)
The disease in this section of the ear is caused by meningitis and viral infection coming from the outer and middle part of the ear.
